Another incredible LIVE & FOOD night at Collina San Michele Camping — your campsite in Levanto, close to the Cinque Terre National Park. Double live concert with Chris Murphy — eclectic violinist, songwriter and multicultural free spirit — collaborating with musicians connected to legends like Tom Waits, Wilco, Elvis Costello and the Buena Vista Social Club. A night of Ligurian flavors & spirits with our food selection and a special tasting of Le Lagore botanical distillates and liqueurs — Solis Gin, Mirto Levante and Bridge Amaro — handcrafted from locally foraged wild botanicals.

THE ARTIST. Eclectic musician and true free spirit, Chris Murphy feels like he comes from another era. He often says he would have been perfectly at home as a court musician or violinist in a traveling circus — and that same magnetic energy still defines his live performances today. Raised in an Italian-Irish family near New York, Murphy grew up surrounded by Italian melodies, Latin rhythms and traditional Irish music sessions. Whenever he picks up the violin, he unleashes an explosive folk-rock energy. Influenced by legendary artists like Steve Wickham of The Waterboys, David Lindley and Scarlet Rivera, he later studied Turkish and Indian music at Bard College and composition at the New England Conservatory in Boston. With tour across more than 40 U.S. states and throughout Europe, he has released over 15 albums — including The Road & the Stars (2023) — collaborating with musicians of Tom Waits, Wilco, X, Elvis Costello, Buena Vista Social Club.
